And The Reviews Are In! (May 2012)

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to share a few of the reviews that some of the hosts from various dinner parties and catering events that I cooked for in the last couple of months posted on Yelp.com and Kitchit.com! A million thank you’s to all the hosts that posted reviews! Your reviews help me tremendously with future bookings and I appreciate it so much!

Marie, who had a 5-person birthday dinner, wrote:

“Chef Ronnie made us an incredible meal and it was a pleasure to have him cook for us. He’s thoughtful with his menu and executes perfectly. Ronnie was so nice and we all really enjoyed talking to him as well. This dinner was truly an awesome experience and I highly recommend Ronnie!”

Chandre, who had a 35-person dinner party, wrote:

“Ronnie and his crew were fabulous to with with. We held a pre-mom’s day dinner this weekend and it was a huge hit. Ronnie’s suggestions for the menu items were loved by all, even the kids! My soon to be 4 year old daughter loved the polenta with lamb ragu (she had 4ths!) Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food. Ronnie even made his smores marshmallows for our guests as a little mother’s day gift. My husband and I throw parties and this ranks up there with the best of them.”

We learned more about food and how to prepare it than we ever expected. We found Ronnie to be very patient with us being the novice that we are. Rachel, who had a 13-person birthday dinner event, wrote:

“Ronnie worked with us to plan a great last minute birthday dinner for 13 friends! Everyone loved the menu and he was able to accommodate different dietary restrictions with great alternatives. I was very impressed with the quality ingredients he brought and how professional the whole experience was. At the end of the meal, everyone was very impressed with the food and how spotless the kitchen was! We are looking to having another dinner party very soon!”

Vishal, who had an 11-person family dinner, wrote:

“Ronnie is a pleasure to work with. First, the discussion regarding the menu was rather straightforward. in that, he came up with a few options for me to select. The descriptions made the selection rather simple. I changed the arrival time on him a couple of times and he still graciously agreed to the changes. While at the house, he was last intrusive in our entertaining the guests. Even with an open floor plan and kitchen, all we could hear were the innocent sounds of cooking sending juices running in our alimentary-canals. The guests loved the food and the descriptions. Even the post event activities were great. From the communications I received, including the hand written card, one could tell easily that Ronnie, together with his sous chef, strive for perfection and customer delight.”

Jeff, who had a cooking class with his girlfriend, wrote:

“I wanted to try something new for a date with my girlfriend and we had Ronnie Woo, The Delicious Cook, over to my house show us how to make a delicious and healthy meal. “I recently attended a dinner party catered by The Delicious Cook. The star of the meal was a juicy prime rib dish that had been cooked to perfection and was beautifully presented. All the flavors were well balanced and blended together harmoniously. For dessert, the chocolate mousse was out of this world. Light, fluffy not too sweet – a little cup of heaven. “My partner and I hired Ronnie to prepare a special dinner for ten friends. We wanted to spend the evening with our guests and not in the kitchen ourselves. Ronnie did a stunningly beautiful job. He served a mouth-watering hangar steak, a blue cheese potato and yam gratin and garlic-roasted baby carrots. He finished with an amazing medley of fresh fruit and a hot, glazed beignet. Wow. The meal was incredibly and Ronnie’s professionalism was topnotch.  He was attentive the entire evening and left our kitchen spotless.  We look forward to our next event with The Delicious Cook!”
