6 tablespoon of butter
1/4 cup of unsweetened chocolate
1 teaspoon of micro-ground coffee (a.k.a. instant coffee)
1/2 cup of sugar
1/4 teaspoon of vanilla
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/4 cup of flour
Heat oven to 375 degrees.
Melt the butter and chocolate in the microwave for about 45 seconds and then check. Give it 15 seconds more if needed. It should be relatively melted with a few small chunks.
Stir until relatively smooth, then add the espresso powder and stir to dissolve. Stir in sugar, then vanilla, then the egg. Mix well.
Add the salt and flour and mix until smooth.
Line a 15x10 inch rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the batter on the parchment using a rubber spatula.
Bake for 30 minutes. When done baking, cool completely before cutting.
Once cooled, cut into strips or with cookie cutter shapes.
Devour with ice cream or as bite-sized treats!
